In a less than average game, Zamalek draw with Egyptian Telecom "Ettisalat" 1-1 , the game was held at the Military Academy Stadium in Egypt as part of the nineteenth week of the Egyptian Premier League.
Zamalek defender Ahmed Magdy scored from a penalty kick in the fourth minute of the second half, while Ahmed Jaafar - Ettisalat striker - tie in the 16 minutes of the same half.
Zamalek raised his points in the league table to 23 points, and Egypt Telecom to 19 points.

Dr. Mohammed Amer -Zamalek current president- confirmed confident on coach Michel De Castel .
Dr.Amer said he had met with the Swiss coach after the loss against Ittehad yesterday in the Egyptian league.
"De castel assured me that the team is enhancing day by day, and the results will begin to improve during the next phase.
De castel insisted to the exclusion of some players from Zamalek squad, saying "They should first commitment in training."
The Ghanaian Junior Agogo, was first player off according to not attending the trainings on time , Castal believe that Sheriff Ashraf and Kofi . must take the full chance in the coming matches"

Al-Ittehad of Alexandria jumped up to the seventh position in the Egyptian league table tonight after beating Zamalek at the seventeenth round of the Egyptian Premier League
with one goal to nil.
The game's only goal scored by Mohammed Jaber,at the 6th minute of the game for Ittehad who was supported by a large audience.
Zamalek who is facing the worst season ever in his entire history had the
eighth defeat and dropped to the eighth position with frozen 21 points, while Ittehad is the seventh after lifting its total to 23 points.

Mansoura Masterpiece joined Zamalek

Zamalek Club signed "Mansoura city masterpiece" Ibrahim Salah -Mansoura club midfielder" officially today, for a period of four years in exchange for 2.5 million Egyptian pounds, according to what was announced by Ibrahim Mujahid, - Mansoura Club chairman.
Zamalek-sc.com had an exclusive phone call with Mr.Mujahid a few minutes ago, he announced that Ahmad Bakri -member of current Zamalek board has signed the contract with the 23 year old star, and only two days after the signing of Mohamed Morsi - Mansoura club
striker - who signed also a four and a half years in return for a million and 300k Egyptian pounds .
The agreement finally done between Zamalek and Mansoura, despite the statements made by Mujahid a few days ago, which indicated that he would not sell the player, "Mansoura
Masterpiece" - as he descried him - to any Egyptian club, and then he said: "Ibrahim is a super star if we would sell him,
it would be only to an European club, because he deserves to join the biggest clubs in the world. ".

De Castal evaluating new players

De Castal
Meondo -Kenyan international and Cameroonian cotton club defensive
midfielder- is joining Zamalek for the test today, to be judged by the
Swiss Michel de Castal coach.
The player had declined to submit to testing and evaluation, but fell
yesterday after the determination of de Castal who declared that he
won't include any player to the team without being subjected to strict
testing.
On the other hand Zamalek-sc.com knew that there is another Cameroonian
player playing in Belgium would be evaluated by the Swiss coach
tomorrow.
French, physical trainer Edmund Sinier contracted by the club had
recently arrived in Cairo yesterday, he had a meeting with de Castal to
get the goal of the technical staff in the next phase to develop the
physical level, and then the technical.
Edmund has a high self-biographical, and work with the big French teams,
with high experience.

minutes of the game , Zamalek lost against their rivals Ahly club, in
the game held between them Sunday, that was deferred to the tenth week
of the season. The goal scored by Flavio Amado, the third in the
Egyptian League this season, as has he become the top foreign player
scorer in the record of the Cairo Derby, with five goals, surpassing
Omar Nour, ex-Zamalek star in the 60's , Sudanese origin, who scored
four goals in the Cairo Derby. Zamalek defeat kept the football team in
the dark tunnel in which live for years, and now frozen at 21 points and
kept it in the sixth place in the league table. It is expected that the

Zamalek football team is out of Egypt Cup after losing against Bany
Ebeed - 3rd Div. team - in the game, which played at Mansoura Stadium.
Zamalek was controlling the match completely, but Bany Ebeed team
succeeded in exploiting the only mistake made by Zamalek defense line
with a goal scored by Sayed Mandoh -Bany Ebeed striker - at the 80th min
of the game. Zamalek began the game with the formation of a Abdul Wahid
in Goalkeeper, Ahmed Magdy ,Ahmed Abdel-Raouf ,Mahmoud Fathallah in the
line of defense , for the midfield line Alaa Aly played on the left and
on the right Ahmed Ghanem Sultan while Hany Said and Ahmed Elmarghany
played in the center and in the attack, Mahmoud Abdel-Razek "Shikabala",
Abdul Halim Ali and Sheriff Ashraf. Zamalek played with no spirit at all
without any tactics or management from the outside line with negative
ball control until Bnay Ebeed scored the game goal at the 80th min.
After the goal, zamalek was pressing with all players looking for an
equalizer, but they couldn't, giving the chance to Bany Ebeed to qualify
for the last 16 of the Egypt Cup for the first time ever, and exit from
the tournament that zamalek was its champion last season

Shot from the game
A continuation of poor performances Zamalek club football team Lost yesterday
the game against Ismaily which was held in Cairo Stadium with Abdullah
El-Shahat -Ismaily player- single goal in Zamalek net at the end of the first
half.
although the game was very good level from both sides, Ismaily had
the full control with great tactics by his Brazilian coach Ricardo who was
targeted by Zamalek for signing at the beginning of the season before they hired
German Holman.
Ismaily philosophy at this game was the shortest way to
reach the goal through short passing and with good spirit across the pitch
On the other hand Zamalek disassembled lines and clear absence of
tactics or movement without a ball thought the team players , Who have dealt
randomly with the match.
and Zamalek goalkeeper Abdul Wahid El-Sayed - man of
the game - prevented Zamalek from a heavy lose.
Despite ongoing
attempts made by Shikabala ,But he could not break Ismaily defense alone in the
absence of any correlation between the lines of Zamalek.
Holman joined a
wide range of young players who have tried hard but was not enough without
clear tactic or assistance from experienced team mates.

Ismaili jumped to 23 points from 12 games in the third place in the table, while

Zamalek refuses North African Championship

Zamalek Club new board of directors refused to participate in North African
Championship. after Egyptian Federation chosen Zamalek to participate as the last
season Cup winner.
Zamalek general manager Mr. Alaa Mekled announced that Dr.
Mohammed Amer - Zamalek current president and ex- vice president - made his
decision not to participate Based on the German Rainer Holman -Zamalek coach-
decision , who preferred reorganizing the team form in the coming stage to
participate in the first North African clubs championship.
Mr. Mekled
added that Zamalek club awaiting the outcome of the meeting of the Executive
Office of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to see its resolution on
the participation of Zamalek in the African Champions League in the new season
as Zamalek end the Egyptian league last season in the third position, especially
that Ismaily - last season second position- apologized for the participation
preferred Arab Champions League.

Egyptian Football Association decided to postpone Ahly and Zamalek match, which
was scheduled on next Saturday 22nd of November 2008, until a later date yet to
be determined,
because of the broadcasting rights crisis in Egypt and the
lack of vision clarity of the rights of some parties.
The Council has
decided to delegate Captain Samir Zaher President of the EFA to meet with
officials & decision-makers in the league clubs and the broadcasting
satellite channels to take clear and decisive
position in order not to repeat such matters affecting the course of the
National Team preparation for the World Cup 2010

Zamalek lost the chance that could put him at top of the table alone , but the
team performance was a disaster that they lost from one of the table bottom
teams and the newest team arrived to the first Division.

Zamalek smashes ENPPI 4-1

In a game can be described as “a peacemaking match”, Zamalek Sporting Club managed to achieve an impressing victory over ENPPI with 4 goals to 1 in the postponed match from the week 6 of the Egyptian League 2008-2009.
The Ghanaian super star Agogo scored the first goal for Zamalek with a perfect header in the minute (28), with which the first half ended. In the second half, Zamalek glittered and scored 3 successive goals, first by Amr El-Safty, who practiced his hobby in scoring from headers in the minute (49), then by the defender Ahmed Magdy, who exploited a big mistake for ENPPI’s defender Adel Mostafa and launched a great shot in the minute(74). Finally, Sherif Ashraf, the striker of the Youths team, restored his scoring talent and managed to score in the minute(80) from a one-to one situation with ENPPI’s goalkeeper Amer Amer.
ENPPI scored his goal in the minute (84) by Abdullah Ragab who exploited a double mistake from the Brazilian Zamalek Defender Ricardo and the goalkeeper Abdel-Wahed .
Zamalek team surprised all football fans in Egypt with a good performance and many lost chances. 2 more goals by Mostafa Gafar and Agogo were cancelled by the referee.
Zamalek reached the point (16) and jumped into the second place behind Petrojet (17 points).

Amr Zaki did some awesome job in the Premier League this season and still the best scorer of the Premier League so far.
Zamalek club board is considering offers .. and Zamalek Spokesman informed us that Zaki's return to Zamalek next season is needed as he is one of Zamalek football team super stars ,however he confirmed that Zamalek will not stand in the way of the player career, but the transaction offer for Zaki must be good enough for such a super star

Al-Gaish team -Egyptian Army Team- kidnapped three precious points from Zamalek football team tonight in
their game which have been held in the eighth round of the Egyptian League at the Military Academy Stadium
Papa ARCO -Al-Gaish striker- scored the game only goal at the 29th minute.
Zamalek performed a very bad game with no tactics or positioning at all while Al Gaish controled the game with good passing and positioning , but the main factor in tonight lost was the referee Mr. Fahiem Omar - who had a bad history with Zamalek games and who is working in Al-Ahram agency that headed by Mr. Hassan Hamdy - Al Ahly president-.
Al-Gaish lifted his table points to 9 points while Zamalek still in the second place with 13 points

Egyptian League dressing white for the Feast

Zamalek's football team managed to won a very important three points from their game against Tersana which was held Tuesday night,
Zamalek looks so much stronger having the
lead for the Egyptian league as his first football team just secured a new
victory to act solo leading Egyptian football, this position that has been away
from Zamalek for the past 4 years and today only Cairo aristocrats regained it
by winning over El-Tersana with a single goal scored by Ga'far in the first half
from a great follow to Wessam's far shot
Zamalek generally played a good game and for the first time the players actually
pressed their opponent and controlled the mid field but the only problem was not
concentrating on scoring more goals which was clear as we wasted so many easy
chances that were enough to afford a big victory
However this victory is extremely important not only for the pole position but
also it's the second in a raw and this is considered new this season for Zamalek

Determination brings rewards

Zamalek football team
Zamalek's first football team managed today to save his fans from a new shock by
a late victory over Itisalat with 4 goals to 2, it took Zamalek -who was behind
by 2 goals till the last minute in the first half- 45 minutes to regain his
stability and balance and actually play organized football when Hamza raised the
white castle spirit with his goal assisted by Agogo to keep the hopes before the
end of the first half
The second half was completely different, Zamalek
players showed great determination for the three points and to make it up for
their fans after the humiliating knock out from the ACL, however it wasn’t until
the 25th minute when the ref whistled a penalty to the white team followed by a
red card to Itisalt defender, the penalty which was brilliantly scored by
Fathallah to take the game to zero point once again, Holman's substitutions
showed great benefit especially Mostafa Gafar who came instead of hesitated
Ra'ouf and didn’t let down his coach when he scored the leading third goal for
his team from a great follow to Abdallah's pass in the box
After that things
got so much easier and Itisalat players lost control which caused another red
card to their midfielder, then it was show time for Mahmod Samir –the bench
player who came instead of Osama Hassan- when he passed from five players before
he strikes a great shot into the net

After an average game in Harare - Zimbabwe .. Zamalek football team had his second defeat in the African champions league in the game which held yesterday against Dynamos Harare by one goal to null scored at the 89th min from a free kick .
Zamalek team didn't present any new tactics or performance in this game and deserved to lose from a better team with great winning spirit and a real desire to go to the African league finals.
with this result Zamalek team is officially out of the African champions league
having the worst position in his African history in the champions league with only 5 points from 4 games in the fourth position in his group table
, Ahly Cairo and Dynamos Harare are the two clubs qualified from this group to
the finals.

Zamalek ACL qualification is Hard

within the 5th round of the ACL, El Ahly equalized with Zamalek in a medium game
that were pointing to the first victory for Zamalek over El Ahly since 2 years
Zamalek did a good game thought the circumstances that lead that only Zamalek
had only 5 players at the bench including the injured defender Hani Said &
2 players that hadn't participated in any game since the season started. Zamalek
controlled the game for only 7 minutes when Amado Flavio mange to score the
first goal for the reds from a header while Zamalek defenders & goal keeper only
managed to watch. During the rest of the first half Zamalek tried to invade el
Ahly goal through crosses made by Ahmed Ghanem Sultan & Usama hassan and before
the end of the first half, GAMAL HAMZA managed to equalize as he received a
cross short pass from Usama Hassan. The second half started, and Ahly's
net had been injured again and this time by AGOGO as he got a through pass from
GAMAL HAMZA After the second goal there was an apparent defending attitude from
Zamalek to the extent that the two stickers were seen in the center of the field
. Mahmoud Fathalla got injured & was replaced by Karim Zekry who was seen for
the first time this season. The game pointed that Zamalek could have his first
win over his main opponent in 2 years but as usual the ball went to the luckiest
player on Earth " Abo Treka" alone without any annoying from all Zamalek
Defenders to score the Equalizer for El Ahly & giving a bad night to Zamalek
Fans. the time went by without any significant threaten for both Goalkeepers &
the match ended that with a result of 2-2.

Zamalek Handball Super Cup Winners

They did it, as usual. Zamalek Handball first team managed to beat their red
opponents "El-Ahly" and won the Handball Super Cup. The first half of the derby
ended 15-14 for Zamalek. Zamalek Handball team dominated the entire game whereas
their rivals did not manage to have the lead at any point throughout the game.
Final score is 24-23 for Zamalek.
As usual, El-Ahly hooligans who were attending the game behaved in a very bad
manner and the police had no choice but to force them leaving the Sports Hall, 2
minutes before the end of the game when Zamalek was leading 24-22. Worth
pointing is that throughout the last season and till date,
Zamalek did not lose any game either in the League or the Egyptian Cup.
Congratulations to our players who have always been up to our expectations and
proved to be the best in Egypt.

Agogo celebrating his first goal
Today Zamalek managed to achieve 3 precious points after beating El-Masry( 2-1)
in the third stage of the competitions of the Egyptian League 2008-2009.
This
win achieved the 7th point to Zamalek team which now comes third in the
competition behind Petojet (9 points) and Ismaily (7 points) while El-Masry has
6 points and comes in the forth place.
Zamalek scored the two goals by its
Tunisian defender Wesam El-Abdy at the first minute of the match and the super
Ghanaian star Junior Agogo at the 53rd minute, while Ashor El-Adham scored for
El-Masy at the 8th minute of the match.
It’s worthy to mention that Agogo’s
goal is the first one for him with the white shirt.
Zamalek tried to exploit
the Al-Ahly’s draw yesterday with Arab Contractors (0-0) and
managed to achieve the second win in the Egyptian League.

Zamalek start the match with hardly attack started with mahmoud
fathalla header at the second minute of the match after ahmed magdy cross but
Asec goal keeper collect it
and Asec team Start the match with coarseness
which make the referee fired his player Yoa Kouassi after he got two yellow
cards
and Zamalek Team depends on the long passes to rich the goal but Asec
success to stop all their efforts.
Mostafa Gaafer was too close to score
zamalek first goal in the last minute of the first half by a very strong shoot
but Asec Keeper collect it too .
in the Second half Zamalek make a good
pressure to score the goal and he depend on Ayman long shots but it didn't make
any danger on Asec Goal .
Gamal Hamza tried to get deep in Asec defense
but Asec defenders Success to stop him .
at the minute 77 Mohamed Abdullah make a good cross but it did not find any one to put it in the goal

Zamalek had two goal scoring opportunities few minutes before the final
whistle.

defender.

Shikabala's crisis is over

FIFA's decree will be issued in 2 weeks
Our sources said today that FIFA have accepted Zamalek's appeal concerning
Shikabala , Zamalek's international football player , and his suspension will be
over in 2 week's time and the player is expected to join his team and take part
in the training sessions after 15 days
Zamalek's lawyer phoned Tarek
Yehya , Zamalek's trainer , from Switzerland and informed him with the news .
Accordingly , Zamalek's coach has decided that Shikabala will join the training
sessions after the match against Asec of Cote de Voir in order to be physically
fit to join the team in the coming official matches
Shikabala expressed
his great joy when he was informed with the news and said that he was greatly
frustrated because he was suspended and he was away from the team for more than
45 days . He also wished he could return back soon to share his team mates the
struggle to reach the finals of the African football championship

Zamalek started the game with some expansive attacking play and it quickly paid off as Fathallah headed the opener after six minutes only connecting with Osama Hassan's fine cross.
Sherif Ashraf could have doubled the lead a few minutes later but his shot was denied by the post.
The visitors' response was very weak as they failed to create any real threat on Mohamed Abdul-Monsef's cage.
Going into the second half Zamalek seemed determined to secure their win but the game was suspended for almost 20 minutes due to light failure.
Fathallah, who has two goals at his tally, came close to scoring again when he fired a deflected shot from inside the area but it went inches wide the post.
In the 67th minute substitute Farag Shalabi intercepted Ahmed Hossam's cross in the area to strike the equalizer and his first ever goal with his right foot.
Coach Reiner Hollmann brought in all his attacking options as Abdul-Halim Ali, Mahmoud Samir and Mohamed Ibrahim Re-placed Sherif Ashraf, Alaa Kamal and Ahmed Ghanem Sultan.
Ali had a clear chance to restore Zamalek's lead but Ittihad's goal keeper Al-Hani Soliman blocked it.
In the 85th minute referee Samir Mahmoud Othman pointed the spot after Mahmoud Samir was fouled in the area. But again the post saved the day for the visitors and denied Osama Hassan's kick.
And after 20 minutes of injury time both sides had to split the points of the game.

Today Zamalek played away their first game in the Egyptian League against Ghazl
El-Mehallah. The game ended 2-0 for the visitors. The first goal came in the
10th minute of the first half through a direct free kick executed by Zamalek's
Brazilian left back Ricardo. Ricardo crossed the ball into the penalty area of
Ghazl El-Mehallah and Amr Ramadan - Mehallah's defender - failed to deal with
the ball and scored an own goal after being put under pressure from Amr
El-Safty.
After the end of the first half, a fight between Zamalek
players (Gamal Hamza and Ricardo) took place and the referee had no choice but
to raise the red card for Ricardo and the yellow card for Hamza, hence leaving
Zamalek with 10 team members to play for 45 minutes in the 2nd half.
Mr.
Holman, Zamalek's Head Coach, made his first substitution to control the game
during half time. Gamal Hamza was replaced by the new comer Alaa Kamal, leaving
Moustafa Gaafar alone as center forward.
In the 3rd minute of the second
half, Alaa Kamal managed to make an effective drible on the left flank of
Mehalla's penalty area and crossed the ball to Mahmoud Fathallah who was there
to head the ball - with no mistake - into the back of the net scoring Zamalek's
2nd goal. Masinga, Mehalla's goal keeper, had no choice whatsoever but to bring
the ball from the back of his net.

Once again Zamalek lost his game against Ahly & the ref. and luck with 2 goals to nil, Zamalek who was the best and
leading allover the game couldn’t find his way to the super cup cause of the ref
who was strangely and so obviously against Zamalek which appeared clearly in 3
occasions first when he pretended not to see a very clear penalty for Abd
El-Ra’ouf and then by canceling a TRUE goal for Alla Kamal and third when he shown the red card to Wessam for his abusing words although he doesn’t know Arabic!!
lucky Ahly’s goals were scored by Ahmed Hassan from a very lucky weird goal and
the second by Eno from a shot right in the middle of the goal!!
Nevertheless
Zamalek played a very good game even after Wessam’s red card, the players or

Zamalek lost the African derby against Al-Ahly tonight in the first game of the first group in the African champions league , the game was closed and Zamalek performed a very good tactic game with a real shortage in players for transfers , suspensions and injuries.
Flafio the Angolan Ahly player scored the first goal for Ahly at 28th min with a
fatal mistake from Zamalek right defender Mohamed Abdl Allah , in the sec. half
Zamalek pressed and controlled the game and succeeded to score a tremendous goal

Zamalek played a great first half with very fast, entertaining and

pass the Ivorian dilemma and continues his African way to round 16
Zamalek was fighting so many circumstances as they played against the weather,
the pitch and also the ref who was so unfair and insisted on ending the game to
the home team by helping them with 2 -so called- penalties both weren’t even
close which made the game much harder for Zamalek specially that both were
scored to make the AGG. Score 2-2 that took the game to penalties on which

In spite of all that it will be fair to admit that Zamalek performance was over

Zamalek passed half the way to the next round of the African champions league
quite successfully with a cheerful victory over Africa sports by 2 goals to nil
scored by Zaki and Aboalala both in the first half
Zamalek started the game as usual with a hesitating performance and Monsef was
the hero of the first ten minutes with great savings but it didn’t take much
time for the players to control the whole game and offer a great performance and
high spirit

History & Statistics (IFFHS) which is an organization that chronicles the
history of football announced today Amr Zaki -Zamalek’s striker- as the top
scorer in the world for January and February with 6 goals as Zaki scored 4 goals
in the African cup of nations and two goals in Egypt’s friendly game with
Namibia
This statement came to prove the real value of some of Zamalek players as Zaki
and Shika and others who really love Zamalek and also to cheer Zamalek fans a

kick from Baladia. The few hundred supporters who attended the game were
shouting against everybody: the board, the players and Kroll himself

Zamalek first football team launched the African champions league - Zamalek’s
favorite champion - with a useful victory over APR FC with 2 goals to
1
Zamalek played an average game due to many factors which made this victory
very valuable but overall Zamalek’s performance was ok
Zamalek wasted so
many chances and the team only managed to score twice by G’affer early at the
4th minute and the second goal was scored by Hamza from a great follow
Unfortunately the game witnessed Abd El-Wahed’s - Zamalek’s first keeper -
injury which will keep him out of the squad for awhile
On the other hand
Shika’s participation with the team in the next game with Al Esmaily became
expected although some of the EFA members still reject it

Zamalek football team traveled to Kigali - Rwanda - in order to start the African champions league for this season . Zamalek wish to have a new start with the great momentum of the Egyptian victory in African Cup of nations few days ago Zamalek international players " Zaky,Fathala,Tareq Elsaid and Monssef" arrived yesterday and would join the team main training tomorrow , however the team coach - Rudd Krol - is not sure about starting with the international players in this game saying that it would be to hard to them to play this game but they should be with the team so they can start concentrate in the new mission for winning the CAF champions league for Zamalek.

Great news came today to bright all Zamalek fans when FIFA decided to raise
Shikabala’s -Zamalek super star- ban which enables him to play once again with
the team specially that Zamalek is going through a lot the next few months and
in desperate need to his spoiled kid
It’s important to mention that FIFA had
banned Shikabala for 6 months due to an illegal transfer from PAOK Saloniki to
Zamalek and there is also a €990,000 fine on the club due to the same
transfer
This news came also to bring Shika’s spirit up once again after he
suffered a lot lately from many problems
All the fans missed Shikabala a lot
and we all hope that he get back to his great level rapidly to bring ART back to
Zamalek’s football

Zamalek’s board finally managed to sign a contract with Adidas Company for
producing the new kits of the first football team and the other different teams
in the club
It’s important to mention that the white (home) kit of the team
will witness some changes as well as the away kit which will be changed from
yellow to black
Also that the new outfits will be ready either starting from
the next round of the Egyptian league or starting from the next season

to reach an agreement with the board to end his relation with Zamalek
without problems
The player assured the good relations between him
and the board and the great fans as he described and he apologized to

Zamalek new star Mohamed Abdullah is now ready to participate with the team
after his license (ITC) arrived to Zamalek from Konya sport the player formal
club
Zamalek added Abdullah to the local squad of the team which enables him
to play the next game which will be with Maliet Kafr Al-Zayat next Friday
Zamalek also will add the player to the African squad in the next few days,
Abdullah is now officially the first player that Zamalek added during the winter
