Abdel Wahed El Sayed Injured

The Interntional Goal Keeper Abdel Wahed El Sayed was injured today in a fight inside Zamalek Sporting Club while trying to defend his team mate Ibrahim Saeed. The fight started when four irresponsible teenagers tried to attack Ibrahim Saeed because he asked them to stop playing with fire works inside the club. Abdel Wahed El Sayed had no choice but to defend his team mate.
Unfortunately, one of the teenagers attacked Waheed with a glass and injured him badly in his hand.
The club's security force managed to catch the four teenagers and transferred them to the nearest police station. Meanwhile, Waheed was transferred to Kasr Al Aini French Hospital where he was treated by the doctors. Breaking News: Shikabala will be registered at EFA next Saturday.

It has come to our attention that a Greek specialized sports channel announced today that Paok FC will have no choice but to accept Zamalek's offer with regard to lending Shikabala to Zamalek SC for a period of one year. This decision has been made by Paok's Board of Directors after they had confirmation from EFA that the player will not be able to leave the country because of his military status.
From our part, we called General Alaa Meklad who confirmed that Paok's representatives will arrive to Cairo either today or tomorrow to conclude the deal. Once concluded, Shikabala will be registered at EFA next Saturday.
We at Zamalek-sc.com wish all the best to Zamalek SC's Administration in concluding the deal successfully and hope to see Shikabala playing for Zamalek this season.

After four months of suffer from injury, the coaching staff of Zamalek Sporting Club expressed their intention to let the International Goal Keeper Abdel Wahed El Sayed play the next game against El-Meknasi Football Club of Morocco in the competitions of the Arabian Champions League. This decision has been made after receiving a medical report from Waheed's German Doctor in which he confirmed that the International Goal Keeper is fit and can join the team.
Meanwhile, Samir Mohamed Aly (Goal Keepers' Trainer) said that Abdel Wahed El Sayed will play two friendly games, scheduled for next Sunday and Thursday, in order to regain his full fitness prior to letting him guarding Zamalek's Goal in the next official game. Samir Mohamed Aly added that the International Goal keeper had requested the coaching staff to let him play Zamalek's last game versus Ismaily in the Egyptian League; however, the coaching staff preferred to ensure his complete fitness before letting him playing any official games.
From his part, Abdel wahed El Sayed expressed his happiness and said that he has been training very hard throughout the last period in order to regain his full fitness. He added: "I am now ready to Guard Zamalek's Goal".

In a big and wonderful game, the new African stars, the Tunisian club CSS ( LE CLUB SPORTIF SFAXIEN ) team were able to tie in his game against his host the South African team - Orlando Pirates - with no scores today, Saturday, in the going of the semi final of the African league in Elise Park court at Johansberg.
The game was influenced by tactical performance and was as fast as strong, and the Tunisian team proved his capability of achieving a lot.
It would be enough for the CSS to win with any score in the returning game on the coming October the 14th to be qualified for the finals of the African League for the first time.

Zamalek favourite game as usual against Ismaily "Daraweesh" ended 1-0 in favour of Zamalek.
Ismaily started the game with continuous attacks, but Zamalek defence was solid due to the presence of Ibrahim Saa'ed with his great performance during the game and a great support from Wael El-Kabany and Amr El-Safty other zamalek defenders.
In the second half Zamalek counter attacks were effective & from one pass Amr Zaki gifted to Magdy Attwa, Zamalek scored the winner's goal

The first-ever Egyptian Super Cup is complete, and Zamalek Handball Team has shown once again that it is very serious about doing its part on Zamalek Sporting Club history.
Zamalek defeated Ahly club 23-22 in the Super Cup match last night, and although their final game against Ahly Club was highly contested, they showed that Zamalek is still a force to be reckoned with in The Egyptian Handball. They also collected most of the top awards, with Mohamed Abdel Salam being named the Most Valuable Player trophy. Zamalek-sc.com thanks the handball team for the newest cup

Our sources in the Tunisian club CSS ( LE CLUB SPORTIF SFAXIEN ) declared that Zamalek administration reached a final agreement regarding the transfer of Anis Bou jelbene the team captain and the international Tunisian player to Zamalek to be the newest player in the white list next January 2007.
The initial negotiation a month ago failed because Zamalek offered $200K only for one season
But now Zamalek increased the offer to $600K for two and half seasons by adding all perks & advantages to the monthly salary which may not be less than $4000.
Anis Bou jelbene has announced that he will not leave C.S.SFAXIEN until the end of the African Champion League but he will undergo a complete medical analysis in Cairo during the month of Ramadan.
It is well known that Anis Bou jelbene is playing as a half defender & he is one of the best Tunisian in his position, he can also play sometimes as Play maker

Zamalek achives hard winning El Meknas

Zamalek has achieved hard winning the game over the Moroccan team "El Meknas" in the Arabic Champions League today with one goal by Hazem Emam from a hard shot missed by the goal keeper in the last minutes of the game.
The game as a whole was an average one with great tense from the Zamalek players, the audience and the technical staff which gave the guests the chance to close the manoeuvre area.
The game was one of the Zamalek episodes of bad and unbalanced performance despite all the facilities available and the new players' deals that made the audience raging the technical staff headed by the Portuguese Manuel Cajuda and everyone is now discussing the possibility of changing the technical staff to put back Zamalek on the track of championships.

It was declared that Gamal Hamza signed a new contract with Zamalek Sporting Club till 2009 for 3.2 million EGP .. Hamza the 25 years old star came through the club youth ranks and he is considered to be one of the best talented players in the team and helped Zamalek winning the Egyptian League three times before beside the African Champions League and the African Super Cup.

Today it was declared that Shikabala - the Ex-Zamalek player- has signed a one year new contract with Zamalek Sporting Club.
Mr Mamdouh Abbas - Zamalek SC President - funded this deal and the player signed in his office this afternoon.

Along a phone conversation with Zamalek-sc.com, Mr. Alaa Mekled has denied what has been spreading around about Amr Zaki leaving to France for more health check up and he confirmed that Amr is in good shape upon being checked up by a group of senior specialists, and the player will join the team in the game with moroccan team Meknas in the Arabic Championship on the current September 18th.

Zamalek Sporting Club football team managed today to regain confidence by defeating the Egyptian Arsenal "Tersana" by four goals to one. The list of Zamalek scorers today included Magdy Atwa, the talented young mid fielder, Abdel Halim Ali, Moustafa Gaafar and the magician Gamal Hamza who scored the fourth goal. Tersana managed to score their only goal at the end of the first half through a medium range shot. Monsef is held responsible for this goal especially that he was not taking the right position to deal with the ball. Zamalek Sporting Club succeeded in adding three points to their balance and most importantly regaining confidence after the very bad start this season.
